The Human Resources Generalist supports an assigned College or Division and serves the needs of the leadership and personnel through maintaining expertise on people-related services, state/federal/CSU policies, supporting employee/division success. This position partners the with an HR Leader to ensure compliance with and adherence to broader University initiatives and policies. This position uses their expertise on policies, programs, and practices to keep management informed of new developments as well as contribute to the development and administration of HR related programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with department goals.
Candidates may be considered for either the Intermediate Human Resources Generalist or Human Resources Generalist level based on their education, experience, and demonstrated ability to perform work of varying complexity, independence, and responsibility.

Roles hired through this pool may primarily serve a unit or college and will have the opportunity to support additional campus human resources teams. Positions will be onsite with possibility for hybrid work.
Intermediate Human Resources Generalist: $50,000 - $70,000
Human Resources Generalist: $64,000 - $85,000
