The City and County of Denver offers competitive pay commensurate with education and experience. New hires are typically brought into the organization between $63,679 and $83,000 based on experience and education. We are looking for a Recruiter to support the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI), one of Denver’s largest and most operationally diverse agencies, while also flexing to support other agencies based on organizational needs.
The ideal candidate brings experience managing high‑volume recruitment, a commitment to equitable and compliant hiring practices, and a strong ability to translate workforce needs into targeted, effective recruitment strategies. Experience recruiting for operational roles, public works, skilled trades, transportation, or similar fields is a plus.
As a Recruiter, you will serve as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers and agency leaders. You will lead full‑cycle recruitment with a focus on creating an accessible, equitable, transparent, and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers. Your work will directly contribute to citywide goals to improve hire quality, reduce first‑year turnover, strengthen candidate expectations, and maintain efficient talent processes.
