The Director of Human Resources is responsible for overseeing operations of the Human Resources department including; employment practices, employee relations programs, processes/recruitment, workers compensation, company benefits, employee training, in accordance with State and Federal Regulations and company policies and procedures. Develops and manages processes and programs to reduce and control voluntary turnover and improve the customer experience.
Salary starting at $110,000 per year based on experience.
Responsible to the General Manager/Corporate SVP of Human Resources for successful performance of assigned duties.
Responsible for the supervision and performance of the Human Resources Department.
Assists and advises other departments and Company personnel, as necessary, to assure the successful performance of their assigned job duties and the Company overall.
Responsible for employee investigations regarding harassment, discrimination, retaliation, theft and any terminable offense.
Assures that all standardized hiring practices are followed in accordance with applicable laws for equal opportunity employment.
Responsible for the oversight of FMLA, ADA, employee performance, recruitment, training, recognition and retention.
Develops and manages the budget for the Human Resources department.
Reviews and answers all unemployment claims and attends hearings.
Addresses EEOC claims and legal claims, employer liability, employee hotline complaints and law suits.
Development of staff, interviews, hires and evaluates.
Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels of employment. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
Assisting directors and managers with employee relations and problems.
Review Human Resource activities with the General Manager/Corporate SVP of Human Resources.
Manage and administer policies and procedures as described in the employee handbook and corporate policies and procedure manual.
Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers. Manages programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to Human Resource, financial data, company policies and procedures.
Through various oral and written reports to the General Manager and Corporate SVP of Human Resources.
Through achievement of performance goals.
Other duties as assigned.

Five to seven years- experience as a Human Resources Generalist. Preferably in the hospitality services or retail industry a 4-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
Valid gaming license and Alcohol Beverage Control card.
